Summary
Django Unchained is the latest star-studded thrill-ride from the legend that is Quentin Tarantino. Django (Jamie Foxx) is a slave freed by a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to be trained up to help him track down criminals. That is until Django persuades him to return to the plantation he came from to rescue his wife from evil slave owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). But Candie is not one to be pushed into anything, even if it’s down the barrel of a gun meaning a brutal face-off is bound to ensue. Django Unchained is a return to bloody form for the always-fascinating Tarantino.
